The company's origins date back to 1914 when D. Antonio Aguilar Berral decides to produce quince jelly and olive oil of a quality far superior to any known so far. The exploitation of his own orchards would allowa careful selection of this fruit that would have a positive influence on the final product quality. During these early years, San Antonio was the brand name chosen for marketing.

It was not until 1941 when his son D. Francisco Aguilar Berral, after a trip to Venice, decided to change the name of the company. Thus, the brand La Gondola was born, a name that has remained to this day true to its principles of quality.
